Dr Peter Walton, Managing Director
Dendrite Clinical Systems is pleased to announce that the company has received Authorised Service Recipients (ASRs) status following the successful completion of an Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IGSoC) evaluation. This is part of the NHS Connecting for Health Information Governance Statement of Compliance migration process for digital services, from NHS Connecting for Health Services.

The IGSoC is the agreement between NHS Connecting for Health and ASRs that sets out the information governance policy and terms and conditions for use of NHS Connecting for Health Services. ASRs status is formal recognition that Dendrite Clinical Systems has the approved policies, systems, standards and procedures in place to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of personal data used in these services, which meets and maintains the minimum requirements for data security and patient confidentiality. This ensures the company is fulfilling its obligations to all relevant UK and European legislation and is able to provide evidence of compliance, where appropriate, on demand.
The safety and security of medical records as well as patient confidentiality is of paramount importance to all of those involved in healthcare, commented Dr Peter Walton, Managing Director of Dendrite Clinical Systems. Authorised Service Recipients status is an acknowledgement that we have the correct safeguards in place so our customers can have complete confidence in our ability to maintain, preserve and protect patient records.
