Dendrite and British Association of Paediatric Surgeons create two registries
Dendrite Clinical Systems and the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons have announced they will soon launch two registries. The National Outcomes Audit for Hypospadias (NOAH) is aimed at benchmarking outcomes and driving evidence based improvements in the quality of care and outcomes of paediatric surgery, whilst the Gastroschisis Outcomes Registry UK will collect data which will be used allow us to improve the standard of care e offered to children with gastroschisis.
Both online portal registries will utilise Dendrite"s Intellect Web national registry software to facilitate on-line data entry. The Registry can be accessed using a range of modern html-5 compatible web browsers, allowing registrants to enter data without the need to install additional software or perform any complex system configurations.
This system allows the individual clinician to enter patient information onto a database whether in hospital, from an office-based practice or even at home. Clinicians can add as many cases as they wish and where possible they will be encouraged to put on retrospective data (if applicable).
