ePROMs Module
Dendrite’s intuitive Web-Registry platform includes more than 30 different instruments as part of the system’s innovative ePROMs module, allowing patients to remotely enter their data directly into registries via smartphones or tablets. These latest advances in the ePROMs module eliminates unnecessary and time-consuming visits to healthcare professionals, allowing patients to enter their data at their own convenience.
What are PROMs?
Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) are standardised, validated instruments or questionnaires that are completed by patients to measure their perception of their functional well-being and health status, and patients rate their health by scoring the severity or difficulty in completing certain tasks or routine activities.
How ePROMs work
The automated E-Mailer PROMs module can automatically send (at designated time intervals) a secure personalised message to patients (who have provided their e-mail address and have consented to be followed up by e-mail) and they receive a PROMs questionnaire to complete on their smart-phones, iPads or computers anywhere in the world (provided they have Internet access) and the data returns automatically to the registry.
Benefits of ePROMs
Dendrite's flexible innovative ePROMs module can be adapted to include bespoke instruments across the whole spectrum of clinical scenarios, whilst maintaining patient anonymity and confidentiality, ensuring data validation, increasing efficiency and simplifying the data collection process.
PROMs Instruments
The module can be adapted to include any PROMs and previously Dendrite has included over 30 different PROMs instruments ranging from generic outcome EuroQOL EQ-5D type questionnaires to a very wide range of disease or treatment specific PROMs instruments such as the Breast Q for breast reconstruction with DIEP/SIEA flap, the Atrial Fibrillation Severity Score or the Multiple Sclerosis Quality of Life MSQoL-54 questionnaire.
