Vascular and Interventional Radiology Reports
We have published several report detailing the effectiveness and safety of numerous vascular and interventional radiology procedures including IVC filters, biliary drainage and stenting, iliac angioplasty and stenting, and oesophageal stenting.
1st UK Inferior Vena Cava Filter Registry Report 2011
This report is primarily aimed at interventional radiologist who place the filters, but it should also be of interest to many other health professionals, especially those who refer patients for IVC filter placement: haematologists, general physicians, general and trauma surgeons.
1st Biliary Drainage & Stent Audit Report 2009
This is the first report on this registry produced by the British Society of Interventional Radiology, which should help us understand how well these procedures are being performed in the United Kingdom.
3rd BSIR Illiac Angioplasty & Stenting Report 2008
This report is the third in a series that focuses on data from the British Society of Interventional Radiology’s British Iliac Angioplasty & Stent (BIAS) registry. This database holds information on procedures that attempt to improve blood-flow in the leg by removing or reducing blockages in the iliac arteries.
1st Report 2004 - ROST - Registry of Oesophageal Stenting
This report is of value for interventional radiologists to have such a registry to give a snapshot of practice, which details not only the indications for a procedure but also the outcome in terms of success and complications.
